CBO InfiniBand SFP+ AOC -kaapeli CBL-10GSFP-AOC-7M-BO — 7 m, aktiivinen optinen kaapeli

CBO InfiniBand SFP+ AOC Cable CBL-10GSFP-AOC-7M-BO is a 7 m active optical cable designed for 10Gb SFP+ links. The cable provides fiber-based connectivity between SFP+ ports on switches, servers and storage systems, offering low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference. With plug-and-play SFP+ terminations, the assembly supports short-to-medium reach interconnects in data centres and high-performance computing environments where stable 10Gb connections are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable combines the small form factor of SFP+ interfaces with optical transmission to reduce signal loss and avoid ground-loop and EMI issues common to copper. The 7 m length enables flexible rack-to-rack and within-rack routing without additional transceivers or fiber patching. Plug-and-play compatibility simplifies deployment, while the active components in the cable maintain signal integrity over the specified reach for consistent 10Gb performance.

How to use

Ensure both devices have compatible SFP+ ports and that any vendor interoperability restrictions are addressed before installation. With systems powered per standard procedures, insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding port until it clicks, secure any latch if present, and verify link status in the host device management interface. No external transceivers or additional fiber patching are required; the active electronics within the cable handle optical conversion for the specified distance. Monitor link indicators and system logs after installation to confirm stable operation.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. Keep connectors clean and cover unused ports when not connected. For critical installations, verify compatibility with your switch or server vendor and test the link under expected traffic loads to confirm latency and throughput meet requirements.
