CBO MiniSAS-kaapeli 9370CMSASCAB4-0030 0,5 m

CBO MiniSAS cable 9370CMSASCAB4-0030 0.5 m is a 50 centimetre passive copper assembly designed for MiniSAS connections between storage controllers, backplanes and external enclosures. The short length reduces signal attenuation and latency while simplifying cable management in dense rack or compact system installations. The cable is intended to provide a direct, point-to-point SAS link for connecting host adapters, RAID controllers and SAS expanders when a reliable, low-latency connection is required.

Advantages

The compact 0.5 m length makes routing straightforward in confined spaces and reduces excess cable clutter. The MiniSAS connector design supports multi-lane SAS signalling for high-throughput storage applications. As a passive copper assembly, the cable offers low latency and predictable electrical performance for short interconnects. Its flexibility and short reach are suitable for internal or short external connections in rack-mounted or tower systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting SAS host adapters to disk backplanes
• Linking RAID controllers to external SAS enclosures
• Short interconnects inside rack-mounted storage systems
• Compact or dense server installations where minimal cable length is needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: MiniSAS multi-lane copper assembly
• Length: 0.5 m (50 cm)
• Connector style: MiniSAS (multi-lane SAS interface)
• Intended signal: Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)
• Use case: Short-reach, point-to-point SAS interconnects

How to use

Ensure both ends of the MiniSAS cable match the connector type on your host adapter, controller or enclosure. Power down equipment if recommended by the hardware manufacturer before making connections. Insert each MiniSAS connector firmly into the corresponding port until it seats; avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connector. After making connections, verify link status in the storage controller or host adapter management interface and perform any required configuration or discovery of attached drives or enclosures.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable run as short and free from tight bends as possible, route away from high-power or noisy signal sources, and follow the system vendor's guidelines for hot-plugging and connector handling to avoid damage and ensure reliable SAS links.
