DAC-kaapeli CBO SFP28-DAC-2M 2 m passiivinen kupari SFP28-porteille

BlueOptics DAC cable CBO SFP28-DAC-2M is a 2 m passive copper direct attach cable engineered for SFP28 ports and 25Gbps-compatible systems. It provides a short-reach physical connection between switches, network interface cards and storage appliances, enabling low-latency and energy-efficient links for rack-to-rack or in-rack deployments. The cable is intended for environments that require cost-effective, reliable 2 metre copper interconnects for high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

The passive copper construction delivers low power consumption compared with active repeater solutions and minimizes link latency. A fixed 2 m length reduces clutter and simplifies cable management in racks. The SFP28 connector form factor ensures compatibility with standard SFP28 ports and supports 25 Gbps signalling rates in supported devices. The cable provides a predictable, short-distance connection without the need for additional optical modules or transceivers.

Suitable for

• Short-reach connections between switches in the same rack or adjacent racks
• Direct attach to 25GbE network interface cards (NICs)
• Interconnects for storage appliances and top-of-rack switches
• High-density server and switch deployments requiring simple cable management

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 compatible copper direct attach
• Length: 2 metres
• Data rate: supports up to 25 Gbps per lane for 25GbE links
• Construction: passive twinax copper assembly
• Typical use: short-reach, in-rack and rack-to-rack connections

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your switch, NIC or storage device until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to operate at 25GbE where applicable. For best signal performance, avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connectors and maintain the 2 m routing without sharp kinks. To remove, press the latch and withdraw the connector straight out to prevent damage to ports or cable ends.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance direct attach connections in controlled rack environments. Verify device compatibility with SFP28 passive DACs in vendor documentation before deployment and maintain proper airflow and cable routing to ensure reliable operation.
