BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-30M-BO InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli SFP28 30m uros/uros

The BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-30M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable SFP28 30m Male/Male is a 30-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed short-reach connections. It uses multi-mode optical transmission with integrated transmitter and receiver modules in each connector, and follows SFP28 form-factor and MSA-compatible electrical and mechanical interfaces for interoperability with SFP28 ports. The cable supports 25G-class serial data links over a 30 m active optical link and is intended for data centre and networking environments requiring reliable, low-latency optical interconnects.

Advantages

The AOC design integrates optical transceivers at both ends, reducing protocol conversion and providing stable signal quality over the full 30 m length. SFP28 male-to-male connectors offer hot-pluggable installation and compact form factor suitable for dense networking hardware. The multi-mode fibre construction and active electronics allow consistent 25G performance while avoiding the need for separate transceiver modules and bulkier cabling.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices, ensuring the latch engages and the connectors are fully seated. No separate transceiver modules are required since the active optics are built into the cable ends. Observe proper bend radius for fibre cabling and secure the cable to avoid strain on the connectors. Power and configuration are handled by the connected devices; verify link status and speed in the device interface after insertion.

Recommendations

Use the cable in compatible SFP28 ports that support 25G short-reach AOCs and in systems that accept MSA-compliant SFP28 modules. Avoid excessive bending, kinking, or tensile stress; maintain recommended bend radius for multi-mode fibre and install in environments within the operating temperature and handling guidelines of your networking equipment.
