InfiniBand aktiivinen optinen kaapeli CBO QSFP-AOC-10M-SW-BO 10 m QSFP+ - QSFP+

CBO QSFP-AOC-10M-SW-BO is a 10 m Active Optical Cable with QSFP+ connectors at both ends, engineered for InfiniBand environments. The cable supports short-wave optical transmission and is intended for high-bandwidth, low-latency interconnects between switches, servers and storage systems in data centers and high-performance computing clusters. As an active optical solution, it offers plug-and-play installation and reduces electromagnetic interference compared with equivalent copper assemblies.

Advantages

The active optical construction provides stable signal integrity over the 10 m length while keeping latency low. QSFP+ to QSFP+ connectors ensure compatibility with equipment that accepts QSFP form-factor transceivers, enabling direct connections without transceivers or adapters. The short-wave design optimizes performance for typical rack-to-rack and in-row connections in modern data centers, and the optical medium eliminates issues with copper cable weight and EMI sensitivity.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between InfiniBand switches
• Server-to-switch and server-to-storage links in data centers
• High-performance computing cluster connections
• Rack-to-rack and in-row high-bandwidth links

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Connector type: QSFP+ on both ends
• Length: 10 m
• Optical classification: short-wave transmission
• Performance focus: high bandwidth, low latency
• Application environment: data centers, HPC clusters, server rooms

How to use

Install the AOC by plugging each QSFP+ connector into compatible QSFP ports on the devices to be linked. The cable is designed for plug-and-play operation; systems typically detect the connection automatically without additional configuration. Ensure that ports support QSFP+ modules and that the cable routing avoids sharp bends and mechanical strain. For rack installations, secure the cable to prevent tension at connector housings.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, route the cable with gentle bends and avoid tight cable ties near the connector ends. Use this 10 m AOC for short-wave, high-bandwidth links inside rows or between adjacent racks. Verify port compatibility with QSFP+ interfaces before deployment and keep connectors free of dust when handling.
