BlueOptics InfiniBand / kuitu-kaapeli QSFP56 - QSFP56, 15 m, turkoosi

BlueOptics InfiniBand / fibre optic cable QSFP56 to QSFP56, 15 m, turquoise is an active optical cable (AOC) designed for short-range high-speed interconnects. With QSFP56 connectors on both ends and a 15 m turquoise jacket, this cable supports 200GBASE-SR4 data transmission between compatible QSFP56 ports in switches, servers and storage devices. The fiber‑optic design reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and enables low-latency, high-bandwidth links for data centre and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

The cable provides a standardized QSFP56 to QSFP56 AOC solution that follows MSA guidelines, delivering 200 Gbit/s aggregated bandwidth and support for SR4 short-range multimode links. Built with tested components and digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM) support, the cable enables real-time monitoring of optical parameters such as transmit/receive power and temperature when used with compatible host hardware. Its turquoise jacket and 15 m length simplify routing between adjacent racks or within larger rack deployments while maintaining signal integrity.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP56 to QSFP56 AOC by inserting each QSFP56 module into the corresponding QSFP56 port on your network device until the connector latches. Ensure both host devices support QSFP56 AOCs and the 200GBASE-SR4 profile for correct operation. If DDM/DOM is required for monitoring, verify the host platform exposes diagnostics from the AOC. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; follow equipment manufacturer guidelines for hot‑plug handling and electrostatic precautions during installation.

Recommendations

Use this 15 m QSFP56 AOC for short-reach optical links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Confirm compatibility with your switch, server or storage vendor and enable DDM/DOM in the host system if you require live optical diagnostics. Avoid tight bend radii and secure the cable to prevent strain; store spare cables in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
