BlueOptics InfiniBand/kuituoptinen kaapeli QSFP56–QSFP56 15 m aqua

BlueOptics InfiniBand/fibre optic cable QSFP56 to QSFP56 15 m Aqua is a 15-metre optical interconnect with QSFP56 connectors on both ends and an aqua-coloured jacket. Designed for use in data centre and high-performance computing (HPC) environments, this lightweight cable (0.23 kg) provides a short-range optical link for rack-to-rack, switch-to-switch or server-to-switch connections using QSFP56 ports.

Advantages

This BlueOptics cable combines a standardized QSFP56 interface with a 15 m length to enable flexible placement of networking equipment without active signal conversion. The aqua-coloured jacket improves visual identification in dense cabling environments. Its optical design supports short-range links while keeping cable weight low for easier handling and routing in racks and trays.

How to use

Insert the QSFP56 connectors into compatible QSFP56 ports on networking equipment, ensuring proper alignment and secure seating. Route the cable through rack channels or cable management to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius. Use the full 15 m length as needed to connect devices across racks or between nearby equipment in the same data hall.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain a clean environment around optical interfaces. Confirm port compatibility and supported link rates on connected devices before deployment. Use cable management to reduce strain on connectors and to keep the aqua jacket visible for easy identification in dense cabling setups.
