Mini-SAS HD -kaapeli CBO 00YL848 1 m 4x SFF-8644 uros

Mini-SAS HD cable CBO 00YL848 1m 4x SFF-8644 Male is a one-meter high-density SAS interconnect designed for short-distance connections in server and storage systems. The cable features four SFF-8644 male connectors and provides multi-lane SAS links suitable for linking controllers, RAID arrays, host bus adapters and backplanes in rack-mounted environments. Its compact design supports high port density and reliable signal transmission for multi-lane SAS configurations.

Advantages

This Mini-SAS HD cable offers a compact footprint and high connector density to conserve space in densely populated server bays. It is engineered for low insertion loss and stable multi-lane data transfer, improving reliability for short interconnect runs. The standardized SFF-8644 interface ensures compatibility with common Mini-SAS HD ports used in modern storage controllers and backplanes.

Suitable for

• Connecting RAID controllers to backplanes or drive enclosures
• Interfacing HBAs (host bus adapters) with storage arrays
• Short-distance internal or rack-level SAS links in data centers
• High-density server and storage deployments where space is limited

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 meter
• Connector type: SFF-8644 male ×4
• Supported interface: Mini-SAS HD (multi-lane SAS)
• Use case: Short interconnects for internal server and storage equipment
• Design: High-density, four-lane configuration

How to use

Ensure both endpoints are powered down before connecting the cable. Align each SFF-8644 male connector with the corresponding Mini-SAS HD port and insert firmly until seated. Route the 1 m cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of moving parts and hot components. After seating, power the devices and verify link status via the controller or operating system to confirm successful multi-lane SAS connectivity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the cable for short internal or rack-level connections and avoid excessive bending or pulling. Verify port compatibility and ensure connectors are clean before installation. When deployed in airflow-critical racks, place the cable to minimize obstruction and maintain adequate cooling.
