BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-NA-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 3 m uros/uros

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-NA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3m Male/Male is a 3-meter active optical cable with QSFP connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed interconnects in data center and enterprise networking environments. It provides a compact, low-latency link for InfiniBand fabric and other high-throughput applications where reliable, high-bandwidth connectivity is required.

Advantages

This 3m QSFP active optical cable offers high data throughput with low power consumption and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The male-to-male QSFP terminations ensure straightforward plug-and-play installation into compatible QSFP ports, while the optical construction delivers consistent signal integrity over the 3 m reach. The cable's design emphasizes durability for repeated insertions and stable performance in rack and chassis environments.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch uplinks in data centers
• Low-latency trading platforms and storage area networks requiring high bandwidth
• Short-reach interconnects inside racks and between adjacent racks

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP (male) on both ends
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 3 meters
• Application: InfiniBand and compatible high-speed links
• Transmission: High-bandwidth, low-latency optical signaling

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-NA-BO by aligning each QSFP male connector with the corresponding QSFP port on your devices and inserting until it clicks. Ensure devices are powered and that port configurations match the intended InfiniBand or Ethernet link settings. No external transceivers or patch panels are required; the cable integrates the optical interface and active electronics to present a ready-to-use QSFP connection. For removal, press the connector latch or release mechanism on the QSFP port before pulling the cable straight out to avoid damage.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use within rack cabinet and short inter-rack distances up to 3 m. Verify compatibility with your hardware’s QSFP port firmware and link speed settings before deployment to ensure optimal performance.
