BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC15M-BO InfiniBand-kuitu kaapeli 15 m SFP+ aqua

The BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC15M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m SFP+ Aqua is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ to SFP+ male connectors designed for high-speed short-reach links. Built to MSA-compatible SFP+ form factor, this cable integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules at each end and uses multimode fibre to support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps over a 15 m distance. The Aqua-coloured cable and SFP+ connectors are suited for data centre and network equipment that accept SFP+ ports.

Advantages

The cable provides low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity for short-range connections without the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing component count. Compliance with SFP+ MSA form factor ensures plug-and-play interoperability with systems that support compatible AOC modules. The integrated optics and factory-terminated multimode fibre deliver consistent signal quality over the specified 15 m reach.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be connected, ensuring the latches engage. Confirm that both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and are configured for the intended link speed and protocol. No additional transceivers or patch cables are required; the cable is factory-terminated and ready for immediate use. For installation, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify compatibility with the target hardware platform and confirm that device firmware or port settings allow the use of third-party SFP+ AOC modules. Avoid exposing the cable to extreme temperatures or excessive bending radius, and maintain a clean connector area when inserting or removing the module.
