BlueOptics SFP-25G-A25M-BO SFP28 - SFP28 InfiniBand-/kuituoptinen kaapeli, 25 m, aqua

BlueOptics SFP-25G-A25M-BO is a 25 m InfiniBand/fibre optic active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends. Engineered for 25 G connections, the cable provides direct SFP28-to-SFP28 linking for switches, servers and storage equipment. The aqua-coloured jacket and lightweight build (approximately 0.07 kg) make the cable suitable for rack-level and data centre interconnects where compact, visible cabling is required.

Advantages

The cable supports 25 Gbit/s transmission over multimode fibre using integrated transmitter and receiver modules at each end, following common SFP28 form-factor standards. Its active design reduces signal loss over the 25 m span compared with passive copper alternatives and enables straightforward hot-pluggable connections between compatible SFP28 ports. The aqua colour improves cable identification in dense cabling environments while the low weight eases cable management.

Suitable for

• Direct interconnect between SFP28 ports on switches and routers
• Server-to-switch or server-to-storage connections in racks
• Data centre spine and leaf links requiring 25 G bandwidth
• Short-reach multimode fibre links within equipment rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (each end): SFP28
• Nominal data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Construction: active optical cable (AOC) with integrated Tx/Rx modules
• Colour: aqua
• Approximate weight: 0.07 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to recognise 25G SFP28 links; many systems will auto-detect AOC modules. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. For best results, connect one end to the transmitting device and the other to the receiving device, then verify link status and speed through device management interfaces.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short-reach 25 G links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid kinking or tight loops, keep the aqua jacket visible for easy identification, and confirm compatibility with your equipment’s SFP28 ports and supported 25G optics/protocols before deployment.
