SFP+ aktiivinen optinen kaapeli CBO SFP-AOC-10G-20M-ZY-BO 10 Gbit/s 20 m SFP+-porteille

CBO SFP-AOC-10G-20M-ZY-BO is a 20-meter SFP+ Active Optical Cable that supports 10 Gbps data rates for direct connection between SFP+ ports. Designed for switches, servers and storage systems, this AOC provides a compact, low-latency link with reduced electromagnetic interference compared to copper cables. The integrated active optics and fixed length simplify cabling in racks and short-range data center environments while maintaining full duplex 10 Gigabit performance.

Advantages

The active optical design reduces signal loss over the 20 m link and eliminates the need for separate transceivers and fiber patch cords, offering a cleaner and more reliable connection path. Its low power consumption and minimal latency make it suitable for high-throughput top-of-rack and server-to-server links. The cable construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with copper alternatives, while the pre-terminated SFP+ connectors simplify installation and inventory management.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack connections in data centers
• Server-to-server high-speed links
• Inter-switch stacking and short-range switch uplinks
• Storage area network (SAN) aggregation within racks
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and simplified cabling

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gbps full duplex
• Length: 20 meters
• Interface: SFP+ form-factor, hot-pluggable
• Transmission medium: Active optical cable with integrated transceivers
• Latency: low, suitable for short-range high-throughput links
• EMI immunity: reduced compared with copper cabling
• Power consumption: low, suitable for dense rack deployments

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on network switches, servers or storage devices. Ensure both ends are fully seated and that devices are powered according to their manufacturer's guidelines. No additional transceivers or fiber patch cords are required. After insertion, verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces and configure port settings as needed for 10 Gbps operation.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector bodies and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the optical section. Keep the installed cable clear of sources of mechanical stress and maintain bend radii recommended by the manufacturer. For best performance, use in indoor rack environments and avoid exposure to moisture or direct sunlight.
