BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-EE-BO InfiniBand/kuituoptinen kaapeli SFP+ 25 m uros/uros

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-EE-BO is a 25-meter SFP+ active optical cable designed for high-speed interconnects in data centers and network racks. With SFP+ male connectors on both ends, the cable provides a single-cable solution for short to medium reach links supporting 10 Gbit/s throughput. Built for low signal attenuation and immunity to electromagnetic interference, this fibre optic cable is intended for reliable point-to-point connections between switches, servers, storage arrays and network interface cards that accept SFP+ modules.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers 10 Gbit/s transmission over a 25 m distance with reduced power consumption compared to optical transceiver plus patch cable combinations. The integrated active optics eliminate the need for separate transceivers and copper cabling, lowering connection complexity and rack space usage. Compatibility with standard SFP+ ports ensures plug-and-play installation and consistent signal integrity with minimal latency and jitter.

Suitable for

• 10G links between switches and servers in data centres
• High-throughput connections for storage systems and SANs
• Short-to-medium reach InfiniBand or fibre optic interconnects
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row cabling where SFP+ ports are available

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 25 metres
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC)
• Transmission medium: multimode-compatible optical links suitable for InfiniBand and Ethernet 10G
• Immunity: not affected by electromagnetic interference typical in rack environments

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-EE-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the SFP+ cage of the corresponding network device until it latches. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for 10G operation; the cable’s active components will initialize automatically. Verify link status on the devices and confirm negotiated speed and duplex settings. For reliable operation, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; follow standard fibre handling practices while routing the cable through racks and cable management panels.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for direct device-to-device connections within a single data hall or rack row. Keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum, secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors, and maintain clean connector areas to preserve optical performance.
