SFP+ AOC CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M-QN-BO 10 Gigabit aktiivinen optinen kaapeli, 1 m

The SFP+ AOC CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M-QN-BO is a 10 Gigabit Active Optical Cable by BlueOptics designed for short-reach, high-speed connectivity. This 1-metre fiber link uses SFP+ interfaces to connect switches, servers and storage equipment, offering reduced electromagnetic interference and lower latency compared with equivalent copper solutions. Built for data centre and rack-to-rack environments, the cable provides reliable 10 Gbit/s transmission over a compact, vendor-compatible form factor.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers high data throughput with low power consumption and minimal signal loss across the 1 m length. Because it uses optical transmission, the AOC is immune to electromagnetic interference and eliminates ground loop issues common with copper cabling. The integrated transceiver design provides hot-pluggable convenience and consistent performance for short-reach links within racks or between adjacent racks.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and end-of-row switch interconnects
• Server-to-switch and server-to-storage connections
• High-density rack environments requiring low-latency links
• Data centre aggregation and spine-leaf fabrics for short distances

Key specifications

• Nominal data rate: 10 Gigabit per second
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ interfaces
• Length: 1 metre
• Transmission medium: optical fiber
• Typical reach: short-reach connections within racks or between adjacent racks
• Connector form factor: SFP+ compatible
• EMI performance: immune to electromagnetic interference compared with copper

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and compatible with 10 Gbit/s SFP+ optical links. No additional configuration is typically required beyond verifying link status on the devices; monitor link LEDs or device management interfaces to confirm the connection. For best results, route the cable to avoid excessive bending and maintain recommended bend radius for optical assemblies.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m AOC for short, high-performance interconnects inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends, kinks or sharp pulls, and keep connectors free of dust. Verify SFP+ port compatibility and supported link speeds on networking equipment before deployment to ensure proper operation.
