BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC10M-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 10 m aqua

The BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC10M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 10 m Aqua is a 10-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 to SFP28 male connectors designed for 25G data links. Built to the SFP28 MSA form factor, the cable uses integrated transmitters and receivers on each end and multimode optical fiber to provide low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity between network devices in data centres and enterprise environments.

Advantages

This 10 m Aqua AOC supports 25GBASE links and is compatible with SFP28 ports, offering plug-and-play installation without the need for separate transceivers or fibre patching. The integrated active components simplify cabling and reduce signal loss over the 10-metre distance. The cable is suitable for applications that require consistent high-speed performance and low latency in rack-to-rack and switch-to-switch connections.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on the devices to be connected, ensuring proper orientation until the module latches. The cable requires no separate transceivers or fibre termination; the active optical components handle signal conversion. Verify link status on both devices after insertion and confirm speed/duplex settings in device interfaces if needed. Remove the cable by releasing the latch and pulling the connector straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

Use the BlueOptics AOC for short-reach multimode connections within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable; adhere to the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Ensure devices officially support third-party AOC modules if strict compatibility checks are enforced by the hardware vendor.
