BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-DL-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 15 m uros/uros

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-DL-BO is a 15 metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors on both ends, designed for 25G InfiniBand and multimode fibre applications. The cable integrates a transceiver and receiver at each end and complies with SFP28 form-factor conventions and MSA-aligned electrical and optical interfaces, providing a factory-terminated solution for short-reach, high-speed links in data centres and enterprise networks.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP28 AOC offers a plug-and-play connection that eliminates the need for separate transceiver modules and patch cords, reducing installation complexity and ensuring consistent optical performance across a 15 m link. Its SFP28-to-SFP28 configuration supports up to 25 Gbit/s data rates and is suitable for multi-protocol environments including Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet. The integrated design reduces cable management overhead and can simplify port provisioning in compatible networking hardware.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 25G connections in data centres and server racks
• Switch-to-switch links and uplinks compatible with SFP28 ports
• Storage and SAN interconnects using Fibre Channel over Ethernet
• High-density environments where factory-terminated AOC simplifies cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Length: 15 metres
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Media type: active optical cable over multimode fibre
• Form factor: SFP28-compatible active optical assembly

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-DL-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on the devices to be connected until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC modules and the required 25G protocols. No separate transceivers or additional fibre patching is required. After insertion, verify link status on connected equipment and configure port settings (speed, duplex, or protocol-specific options) as needed within your switch, router or host adapter management interface.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics AOC for short-reach, high-speed links within racks or across adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and excessive cable strain; maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius and secure the cable to prevent mechanical stress. Confirm compatibility with your host equipment for supported 25G modes and firmware interop before large-scale deployment.
