BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-GM-BO SFP28 aktiivinen optinen kaapeli, 25 m, mintunvärinen, uros–uros

Active Optical Cable BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-GM-BO is a 25 m SFP28-to-SFP28 AOC designed for high-speed links in data centre and enterprise networks. The cable features SFP28 connectors at both ends, a lightweight construction (0.15 kg) and a mint-coloured jacket. It is intended for use with SFP28 ports in compatible fibre-optic network equipment and provides a factory-integrated transmitter and receiver pair for optical signal transmission over multimode fibre within the specified length.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP28 AOC provides a single-cable solution that combines transceiver and fibre connection, reducing the need for separate modules and patch cords. Its 25 m length covers common rack-to-rack and adjacent room interconnect scenarios while the lightweight design simplifies cable management. The SFP28 connector compatibility ensures plug-and-play installation in equipment that accepts SFP28 form-factor optical interfaces.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links within data centres
• High-speed SFP28 port interconnects in enterprise network equipment
• Short to medium length multimode fibre connections up to 25 m

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 on both ends (male–male configuration)
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint colour

How to use

Ensure both network devices have SFP28-compatible ports and are powered down or in a state recommended by the equipment vendor for hot-plug operations. Remove dust caps from the connectors, align the SFP28 plug with the port and insert until it latches. Verify link status on connected devices and configure port settings if required by your network setup. Follow vendor guidance for allowed cable types and supported protocols when integrating the cable into live networks.

Recommendations

Use the cable within indoor data centre environments and avoid tight bends or exposure to mechanical stress. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOCs in switch or server documentation before deployment, and route the cable to minimise strain on the connectors.
