BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-QL-BO SFP28 aktiivinen optinen kaapeli, 25 m, mintunvärinen

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-QL-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 25 m direct links in data centres and network racks. The cable uses active transceivers at each end to transmit optical signals over multimode fiber, supporting 25 Gb/s class links for InfiniBand and 25GbE applications. Its lightweight construction (0.15 kg) and mint-coloured jacket make it suitable for visible cable runs and tidy cable management in server and switch environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides electrical isolation and low loss signal transmission over a 25 m reach while maintaining the compact SFP28 form factor. Because the transceivers are integrated into the cable ends, installation is plug-and-play into SFP28 ports and it removes the need for separate transceiver modules plus fiber patch cords. The single-cable solution simplifies rack routing, reduces weight compared with copper alternatives, and supports high-speed protocols up to 25 Gbit/s for compatible network and storage equipment.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch interconnects in data centres
• Switch-to-switch links within racks or across adjacent racks
• High-speed storage and SAN uplinks supporting 25GbE or Fibre Channel over Ethernet
• Network equipment with SFP28 ports that support Active Optical Cables

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (both ends): SFP28
• Data rate support: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Optical medium: multimode fiber with integrated active transceivers
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Product colour: mint

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your devices until the latch engages; ensure ports are powered and configured to accept AOC modules. No separate transceivers or patch cords are required. Verify link status and configure interface parameters (speed, duplex, VLANs, or protocol-specific settings) on connected equipment according to your network design. Handle the cable by the connector housings when plugging and unplugging, and avoid sharp bends that could exceed the cable's minimum bend radius.

Recommendations

Install and test the cable in a controlled environment prior to production use. Confirm compatibility with your switch or host vendor for SFP28 AOC modules and follow rack-cable management best practices to maintain bend radius and avoid strain on connectors.
