BlueOptics SFP28 InfiniBand-/kuituoptinen kaapeli 25 m, SFP28–SFP28, aqua

BlueOptics InfiniBand / fibre optic cable SFP28 25 m in aqua colour is a 25-metre active optical cable with SFP28 connectors at both ends. Designed for use with 25G SFP28 ports, the cable provides a lightweight, factory-terminated multi-mode fibre assembly for short-range, high-speed interconnects between switches, servers and storage devices in data centre environments.

Advantages

This SFP28-to-SFP28 cable offers a compact, plug-and-play connection without the need for separate transceivers, reducing installation complexity and rack space. The passive AOC-style assembly delivers consistent signal integrity over the 25 m distance while its aqua colour makes cable identification in dense cabling runs straightforward. With a low weight of approximately 0.07 kg, it is easy to route and manage in tight installations.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding 25G SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices support 25G SFP28 modules or AOC assemblies and that firmware or interface settings are configured for the intended protocol (for example Ethernet or Fibre Channel over Ethernet). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to cable management hardware as needed to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short-range, high-bandwidth links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force during installation. Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOC assemblies and confirm link status through device diagnostics after insertion.
