BlueOptics UACC-AOC-SFP28-5M-BO aqua InfiniBand kuitukaapeli 5m SFP28 uros

The BlueOptics UACC-AOC-SFP28-5M-BO Aqua InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 5m SFP28 Male is a 5-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors designed for high-speed short-reach interconnects. It supports 25G data rates over multimode fibre and is intended for use in data centres and high-performance computing environments where compact, low-latency links are required. The cable integrates transmitter and receiver modules at both ends and follows MSA-compatible SFP28 form factor conventions.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC provides a ready-made, factory-terminated solution that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing installation time and points of failure. The 5 m length and SFP28 SFP28 male connectors offer a standardized, low-profile connection suitable for rack-to-rack and shelf-to-shelf links. Compatibility with equipment platforms that accept SFP28 modules simplifies deployment in mixed-vendor environments.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the devices to be connected, ensuring the module latches are engaged. Use the cable for direct device-to-device links such as switch-to-switch, switch-to-server or switch-to-storage connections. Confirm that connected hardware supports 25G operation and SFP28 AOC modules; if necessary, verify link status through device management interfaces or LED indicators. Handle the cable by the connectors and avoid sharp bends to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, and keep connectors free of dust when unplugged. Use in environments and devices that officially support SFP28 AOC modules and 25G link speeds to ensure compatibility and performance.
