Bosch 2 608 900 334 pora litteäpora 7 kpl

The Bosch 2 608 900 334 spade drill bit set comprises seven precision-cut flat bits in sizes 16, 18, 20, 22, 25 and 32 mm designed primarily for drilling softwood. Each bit features the classic spade shape for rapid material removal and a centering point to maintain drilling accuracy. The set is intended for use with handheld drills and drill presses where fast, clean boreholes in timber are required. Package dimensions indicate compact storage and transport convenience.

Advantages

These Bosch spade bits deliver consistent chip clearance and reliable cutting performance in softwood thanks to their optimized blade geometry. The centering point reduces wandering at startup, allowing for precise hole placement without the need for pilot holes. Manufactured to Bosch quality standards, the set offers durability for repeated use in carpentry and general woodworking tasks. The range of diameters covers common hole sizes for cable routing, dowels and fittings.

Suitable for

• Drilling clean holes in softwood boards and beams
• Creating openings for electrical cables and pipes in timber structures
• Installing dowels, plugs and door hardware
• General carpentry and DIY woodworking projects

Key specifications

• Set composition: 7 spade drill bits
• Available diameters: 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm
• Intended material: softwood
• Bit type: flat/spade with centering point
• Typical use with: handheld drills and drill presses
• Package dimensions: depth 235 mm, width 215 mm, height 20 mm

How to use

Secure the chosen spade bit in the drill chuck and tighten firmly. Mark the drilling position on the workpiece and, if necessary, clamp the workpiece to prevent movement. Start drilling at low speed to allow the centering point to locate the position, then increase speed as the bit engages the wood. Apply steady, moderate pressure and withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips for cleaner holes and reduced heat build-up. After drilling, deburr the hole edges if required.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and hearing protection when operating power tools. For longer bit life and improved hole quality, keep the cutting edges free of resin build-up and avoid excessive side loads. Select the bit diameter that matches the intended dowel, conduit or cable size and use clamps to stabilize thin or short workpieces during drilling.
