Bosch AI-VFD Bullet 4MP 4,4-10mm IP-kamera (FCS-8000-VFD-I)

Built for demanding perimeter security, the FCS-8000-VFD-I pairs a high-resolution 4MP sensor with Bosch's Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) to deliver actionable, real-time alerts. Unlike conventional bullet cameras that merely record, this model actively distinguishes between persons, vehicles, and bikes, reducing false alarms while ensuring critical events are captured. Its motorized varifocal lens and rugged IK10/IP66 housing make it equally suited for wide-area monitoring and focused surveillance in harsh environments.

Highlights

• 4MP resolution (2688 x 1520) with 120 dB HDR for challenging lighting
• IVA with Camera Trainer for precise object classification
• Motorized 4.4–10 mm varifocal lens, 34°–78° horizontal field of view
• IR illumination up to 60 m (200 ft) for night vision
• IP66, NEMA 4X, and IK10 protection for outdoor/vandal-prone areas
• PoE+ (802.3at) or 12 VDC power options

In daily use

Installation is straightforward thanks to PoE+ support and a motorized lens that allows remote zoom and focus adjustments—no need to climb back up the ladder. The camera's HDR ensures detail in both bright and shadowed areas, while IVA continuously analyzes the scene and triggers alerts only when relevant objects cross user-defined lines or enter zones. Two-way audio via line in/out adds an interactive layer for access control or deterrence. Local recording to a microSDXC card (up to 2 TB) provides redundancy if the network is interrupted.
