Bosch Expert SDS plus-7X kierrepora 1 kpl

EXPERT SDS PLUS-7X hammer drill bit for rotary hammer drills with a 18 mm diameter and a 450 mm overall length. The bit is designed for long-life drilling in reinforced and cured concrete, as well as hard natural stone. It features a Full Carbide Head with a 4-cutter design and Bosch carbide and welding technology to increase reliability and resistance to jamming when hitting rebar.

Advantages

The Full Carbide Head made from a single piece provides higher impact resistance and prevents jamming in reinforcement. Bosch Carbide Technology at the tip delivers extended wear life compared with standard bits. A reinforced tip-to-shank connection using Bosch welding technology improves durability under heavy-duty use in rotary hammer drills.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in cured concrete
• Drilling hardened reinforced concrete
• Drilling into hard natural stone such as granite and gneiss
• Professional fixing and installation work with SDS plus rotary hammer drills

How to use

Install the EXPERT SDS plus-7X bit into an SDS plus rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Use appropriate rotation and hammer settings for reinforced concrete. Apply steady feed pressure; avoid excessive side load. If you encounter rebar, continue with steady penetration — the Full Carbide Head reduces jamming risk. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and debris and to cool the tip.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) and follow the rotary hammer drill manufacturer’s safety instructions. For best results in reinforced concrete, select the correct drill diameter and use a pilot hole where required.
