The Bosch GEX 12V-125 Professional disc sander is a compact, battery-powered random orbit sander designed for professionals who need mobility and precise control. Its slim, balanced housing and ergonomic palm rest allow close-to-workpiece guidance and make it suitable for reaching tight corners. The tool is compatible with the Bosch 12V Professional battery system and the Click & Clean dust extraction system.

Advantages

The cordless design provides freedom of movement while the brushless motor increases efficiency and reduces maintenance. A 125 mm hook-and-loop sanding pad enables fast abrasive changes. Built-in speed selection and a battery status indicator help adapt the tool to different materials and monitor runtime. The compact dimensions and light weight contribute to improved handling during extended use.

How to use

Choose a compatible 12 V Bosch Professional battery and attach it to the tool. Select the appropriate sanding paper and secure it to the 125 mm hook-and-loop pad. Switch the sander on and select the speed suited to the material: lower speeds for delicate finishes and higher speeds for aggressive material removal. Guide the sander with light, even pressure, keeping it flat on the workpiece and moving it continuously to avoid creating dips or heat build-up. Empty the dust bag regularly or connect the Click & Clean dust extraction system for improved dust control.

Recommendations

Use suitable grit progression for the task (coarse to fine) and check compatibility of abrasives with a 125 mm pad. For best results on painted or lacquered surfaces, start with a medium grit and finish with a fine grit. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and a dust mask, when sanding.
