The BRAUN Night Vision 4.0 is a compact digital night-vision monocular with photo and video recording capabilities. Equipped with an ULTRALIT lens, a STARLIGHT CMOS sensor and an adjustable infrared light source, it operates in daylight, twilight and complete darkness. Infrared illumination is adjustable in seven levels and enables observation ranges up to 250 meters at night. The device supports microSD cards (up to 32 GB) and can record Full HD video. It is powered by the included 18650 lithium-ion battery and can be connected to external power banks via USB.

Advantages

The monocular combines 3x optical eyepiece magnification with a 4x digital zoom for detailed viewing of distant objects, and its electronic viewfinder includes diopter compensation and a rubber eyecup for eyepiece use. A highly sensitive STARLIGHT CMOS sensor plus a potent, switchable IR emitter provide clear images in low light. The unit is water- and dust-protected and designed for intuitive single-handed operation; an ergonomic wrist strap is included for added stability. Photos and Full HD videos are stored on a microSD card for easy transfer.

Connect a USB power bank if extended operation time is required. Transfer recorded files from the microSD card to a computer or smartphone reader for viewing and backup.

Recommendations

For best night performance, start with a mid-level IR setting and increase as needed to avoid image washout; use the eyepiece for observation to prevent stray light from the viewfinder affecting visibility. Store the unit and battery in a dry place and format the microSD card in the device before first use.
