Bresser Optics Nautic 7 x 50 kiikari

The Bresser Optics Nautic 7 x 50 binoculars provide 7x magnification and a 50 mm objective diameter to deliver bright, detailed views for marine and outdoor observation. Constructed with BaK-4 prisms and fully coated optics, these binoculars are designed to maximise light transmission and contrast. The Nautic 7x50 features a robust, water-resistant rubber armour and gas-purged (nitrogen-filled) optical tubes to reduce internal fogging and protect the optics from moisture. Weighing approximately 1.025 kg and finished in blue, this model combines durability with portable handling for use on board, on hikes, or during birdwatching.

Advantages

The BaK-4 prisms and fully coated lenses ensure consistent image brightness and clarity even in low-light conditions. The water-resistant rubber armour and gas-purged construction protect the optical system from moisture and sudden temperature changes, improving reliability in marine environments. An integrated illuminated precision compass and a distance-calculating scale on the objective body support navigation and range estimation without additional instruments. Central focus adjustment allows simple and fast sharpness control for both eyes.

Suitable for

• Marine navigation and observation on boats or ships
• Birdwatching and wildlife observation in varied light conditions
• Hiking and outdoor recreation where robust, weather-resistant optics are needed
• General long-distance observation and amateur astronomy in clear conditions

How to use

Hold the binoculars steadily and set the inter-pupillary distance by folding the barrels until a single circular field of view appears. Use the twist-up eyecups to achieve comfortable eye relief, especially when wearing glasses. Focus on your target using the central focus wheel; close your right eye or cover the right objective while adjusting diopter correction if needed to balance sharpness between the two eyes. Use the illuminated compass and the distance-calculating scale on the objective body for orientation and approximate range estimation. After use, wipe lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth and store the binoculars in a dry place.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in marine and humid environments keep the eyepieces and objectives clean and dry, avoid prolonged exposure to direct salt spray, and store the binoculars in a protective case when not in use. When using the illuminated compass, check battery condition regularly and turn the illumination off to conserve power. For best low-light results use a steady support such as a railing or tripod adapter where available.
