The BRIO Remote Control Travel Train is a multicolour battery-powered toy train designed for children from 0.3 years and up. The set includes a remote controller and a train engine with buttons on the engine itself. The controller offers forward and reverse motion, two forward speeds, stop function, and separate A and B frequency options to allow several RC trains to operate on the same layout. Light and sound effects can be activated from the controller or the engine.

Advantages

The remote control provides easy-to-use reverse, stop and two-speed forward functions suitable for young children. Frequency selection (A & B) prevents interference when multiple trains are used on the same track. Built-in light and sound effects add sensory stimulation, and the option to control the train from both the remote and engine increases play flexibility. The construction is lightweight and durable for everyday play.

Suitable for

• Imaginative play and storytelling
• Developing fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination
• Shared play with multiple RC trains on one layout
• Early years play for toddlers (from 0.3 years)

How to use

Install four AA batteries in the train and the required batteries in the remote according to the polarity markings. Use the forward, reverse and stop controls on the remote or the engine buttons to drive the train; press the dedicated buttons to activate lights and sound effects. Supervise young children during use and ensure batteries are inserted correctly.

Recommendations

For best performance, use fresh alkaline AA batteries and check contacts regularly. Operate on a flat, stable track layout and avoid exposure to water or extreme temperatures. Replace batteries promptly when sound or movement weakens to prevent battery leakage.
