busch jaeger BJ Reflex SI keinukytkimen peitelevy punainen kalotti alppivalkoinen malli 2509-214

This cover plate is designed for a rocker switch from the busch jaeger BJ Reflex SI series, model 2509-214. It provides a red dome actuator set into an alpinweiß frame appearance and is intended as a replacement or decorative cover for compatible BJ Reflex SI rocker mechanisms. The part restores a finished look to wall switches while offering a clearly visible red actuator surface for functional signalling or design contrast.

Advantages

The cover plate combines a colored dome with a light-coloured frame appearance for clear visual distinction and a contemporary look. It is shaped to fit BJ Reflex SI rocker mechanisms, enabling straightforward replacement of worn or damaged covers without altering the underlying switching unit. The smooth surface is easy to clean and resists common household dirt, while the precise fit reduces gaps around the mechanism for a tidy installation.

How to use

Before replacing the cover, switch off the relevant circuit at the breaker and verify power is off. Remove the existing cover by gently prising it away from the mechanism according to the mechanism manufacturer's instructions. Align the new cover plate over the rocker mechanism and press until it snaps into place, ensuring the dome actuator moves freely and the frame sits flush with the mounting surface. Restore power and check the switch operation.

Recommendations

Use the cover only with compatible busch jaeger BJ Reflex SI rocker mechanisms; avoid forcing the cover onto non-compatible housings. Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface finish.
