Radiosilta Cambium C600510C031B 60 GHz, 2 Gbit/s linkkikapasiteetti

Cambium C600510C031B is a compact 60 GHz wireless bridge engineered to deliver up to 2 Gbps of link capacity for short-range, high-throughput point-to-point connectivity. It is intended for scenarios where fiber or licensed spectrum is impractical, providing low-latency transport for video, data and voice traffic. The unit is designed for straightforward installation and integration into enterprise and service-provider backhaul networks, offering a purpose-built solution for high-speed wireless links over clear line-of-sight paths.

Advantages

The 60 GHz radio provides a wide channel with high aggregate throughput while avoiding congested lower-frequency bands. The device supports up to 2 Gbps link capacity, enabling simultaneous transport of multiple traffic types with low latency. Its compact form factor and purpose-built design reduce rack and mounting complexity and simplify deployment in urban and campus environments. Built for point-to-point use, the bridge offers predictable performance for backhaul and dedicated link applications.

Suitable for

• Short-range point-to-point backhaul between buildings or towers
• High-throughput links for video surveillance and media transport
• Enterprise campus connectivity where fiber installation is not feasible
• Service-provider last-mile or temporary high-capacity links

Key specifications

• Operating frequency: 60 GHz band
• Maximum link capacity: up to 2 Gbps aggregate
• Intended range: short-range, line-of-sight links
• Latency: designed for low-latency transport suitable for voice and real-time video
• Form factor: compact, outdoor-rated bridge unit
• Connectivity: Ethernet interface(s) for integration with existing networks

How to use

Install the bridge on roof or mast locations with clear line-of-sight to the counterpart unit, following site planning for unobstructed 60 GHz propagation. Mounting hardware and alignment procedures should be used to achieve precise aiming for the narrow beam. Connect the Ethernet interface to the local network switch or router and configure network parameters such as link mode, VLANs and management IPs according to the network design. Verify throughput and latency using standard traffic tests and monitor link status through the device management interface.

Recommendations

Position units to ensure stable line-of-sight and minimize reflections from nearby structures. Perform alignment and throughput verification during installation and schedule periodic checks on link performance and firmware updates to maintain reliable operation.
