CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q30M 30m 100G aktiivinen optinen kaapeli

The CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q30M 30m 100G active optical cable is a factory-terminated, single-cable solution for direct 100G connections between SFP28 ports. Engineered for short-reach links up to 30 meters, this active optical cable integrates optics and electrical interfaces in one module to deliver high-throughput, low-latency data transmission without the need for separate transceivers. It is suitable for modern data center environments where compact cabling, reduced power consumption and predictable signal integrity are required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC provides a reliable 100G connection with simplified installation: plug-and-play compatibility with SFP28 ports eliminates the separate transceiver and fiber patchcord pairing. The active optical design reduces electrical power draw and heat compared with equivalent copper solutions while maintaining signal quality across the full 30 m distance. The cable’s integrated form factor reduces port density concerns and cable management complexity in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Data center switch-to-switch links
• Rack-to-rack interconnects within a 30 m span
• High-bandwidth server uplinks and aggregation
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row connectivity

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 compatible plug on both ends
• Nominal data rate: 100 Gbps
• Maximum cable length: 30 meters
• Media: active optical cable (AOC) with integrated transceivers
• Typical use: short-reach data center interconnect
• Form factor: compact, direct-attach cable assembly

How to use

Insert each SFP28-compatible end into the corresponding port on network switches, routers or servers until a firm click is felt. Ensure that the host devices support 100G operation on the targeted SFP28 ports and that firmware or driver requirements are met. No separate fiber patchcords or external transceivers are required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius; secure the cable to racks or cable managers to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify interoperability with your network equipment vendor’s compatibility list and confirm link settings after installation. Avoid tight bundling with high-power copper cables to reduce heat buildup, and maintain ambient conditions within equipment specifications. Periodically inspect connector ends for contamination and clean with suitable optical cleaning tools if necessary.
