The CHERRY KC 4500 ERGO is a full-size wired keyboard with a curved ergonomic design that helps reduce shoulder and neck tension by promoting a more natural hand and arm position. It features a soft memory-foam palm rest, a 108-key QWERTY layout, USB connection and a 1.8 m cable for flexible placement. The keyboard is plug & play and includes multimedia functions integrated into the F-keys for convenient control.

Advantages

The curved layout encourages a relaxed posture to relieve shoulders and back, while the extra-soft palm rest with memory foam prevents pressure points and provides comfortable hand support. Three adjustable feet let you raise the keyboard front for working while standing, and rubber feet keep the device securely in place. The long USB cable and plug & play setup allow immediate connection without additional software, and integrated multimedia controls give quick access to volume and playback functions.

Suitable for

Office workers and remote workers who type for extended periods
Users seeking an ergonomic alternative to standard flat keyboards
Workstations where a reliable wired USB connection is required
Environments needing multimedia key access and simple plug & play setup

Key specifications

Brand: Cherry

Interface: USB
Layout: 108-key QWERTY (US English)
Form factor: Full-size (100%)
Colour: Black
Cable length: 1.8 m
Wrist rest: Extra-soft memory-foam palm rest

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a free USB port using the attached 1.8 m cable; the device is plug & play and ready to use without additional drivers. Position the keyboard so that your forearms are relaxed and your wrists rest gently on the memory-foam palm rest. Use the three feet to raise the keyboard front if you prefer a tilted angle, for example when working standing. To access multimedia functions, hold the FN key while pressing the corresponding F-key.

Recommendations

For ergonomic benefit, adjust chair and desk height so your forearms are approximately parallel to the floor and take regular breaks to change posture; cleaning the keyboard with a dry or slightly damp cloth is recommended and avoid exposing it to liquids.
