The Chieftec GL-03W-OP (SCORPION 3) is a white Midi Tower PC case designed for gaming and general system builds. It comes with four pre-installed 120 mm rainbow Ring Fans (three front, one rear) and a tempered glass side panel with a slide-to-open mechanism secured by thumbscrews, providing tool-free access and visual monitoring of internal components. The case supports ATX, Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, and includes SATA cables for storage installation.

Advantages

The case combines improved cooling with aesthetic RGB-style rainbow fans and a tempered glass side panel for easy installation and component visibility. Its slide-to-open tempered glass with thumbscrews simplifies access without tools. The Midi Tower form factor offers compatibility with standard motherboard sizes and multiple drive bays while keeping compact external dimensions suitable for desk or shelf placement.

Suitable for

  • Gaming PC builds requiring visible interior and active airflow
  • Home or office systems using ATX, Micro ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards
  • Users who need both 2.5" SSD and 3.5" HDD mounting options

How to use

Install the motherboard on the standoffs corresponding to ATX, Micro ATX or Mini-ITX form factor. Mount storage drives into the 2.5" or 3.5" bays and connect them using the supplied SATA cables. Install the power supply (not included) and route cables to the motherboard and drives. Connect front panel USB and power/reset headers to the motherboard according to its manual. Reattach the tempered glass by sliding it back into place and securing the thumbscrews.

Recommendations

For optimal airflow, maintain clear intake and exhaust paths by managing cables and avoiding obstructing the front fans. Regularly clean dust from fan intakes and the interior to preserve cooling performance and longevity of components.
