Its durable construction resists everyday wear and maintains alignment under normal shooting conditions. Designed to be compatible with Insta360 Ace Pro 2 and Ace Pro cameras, the accessory simplifies mounting workflows and expands on-camera accessory options.

How to use

Slide the cold shoe into the dedicated accessory slot on the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 or Ace Pro until it seats firmly. Attach the accessory—such as a shotgun microphone or LED light—by inserting its mounting foot into the cold shoe and securing any locking mechanism provided by the accessory. Check alignment and tighten any thumbscrews or clamps as needed to prevent movement. To remove, loosen the accessory fastener and slide the cold shoe or accessory out of the camera slot.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use accessories with compatible shoe feet and moderate weight to avoid straining the camera mounting point. Periodically inspect the cold shoe for signs of looseness or wear and ensure all screws and clamps are secured before recording.
