CoreParts 2,5 inch SAS/SATA SFF HotSwap-kehikko - kiintolevypaikka - kapasiteetti: 1 kiintolevy (2,5)

In a busy data center, a technician needs to swap a failed 2.5-inch SAS drive in a rack-mounted server without powering down the entire node. The COREPARTS MUXMS-00406 hot-swap tray makes this possible: slide out the old caddy, unscrew the drive, mount the replacement, and push it back into the SFF bay—all while the system keeps running. This robust metal tray is engineered for 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives and fits standard small form factor (SFF) hot-swap bays found in many servers, workstations, and storage arrays.

• Supported interfaces: SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) and SATA (Serial ATA)
• Number of drives supported: 1
• Hot-swap capability: Yes
• System form factor: SFF (Small Form Factor) drive bay
• Mounting type: Internal hot-swap bay

Why choose it

Downtime is costly, and this tray minimizes it by enabling fast, tool-less drive replacement. The sturdy metal construction protects your drive from vibration and physical shock, while the open design promotes airflow to keep temperatures in check. It is a direct-fit replacement for many OEM trays, saving you the expense of proprietary caddies without compromising reliability.

Ideal use cases

• Maintaining high-availability servers in enterprise data centers
• Upgrading storage in workstations or small servers with SFF bays
• Building or repairing custom storage arrays that use 2.5-inch hot-swap bays
• Keeping spare trays on hand for rapid drive rotation and backup

Good to know

The tray is designed for standard 2.5-inch SFF hot-swap bays; check your system's documentation for exact compatibility. It supports both SAS and SATA drives, but the interface speed is determined by the drive and controller. No screws are needed for the tray itself—the drive is secured with the included mounting screws or latch mechanism. Always handle drives by the edges and follow ESD precautions when installing.
