DAC-kaapeli Digitus SFP+ 10G 0,5 m DN-81220-01

Extend your copper connections with the Digitus SFP+ 10G 0.5m DAC cable, a 0.5 metre AWG 30 twinax direct attach cable designed for short-range high-speed links. It supports a wide range of data rates and protocols including 10G Ethernet, multiple Fibre Channel speeds, Gigabit Ethernet and common mobile fronthaul interfaces, making it suitable for backbone switch-to-switch connections and compatible with Hewlett Packard (HP) H3C equipment.

Advantages

The DAC cable offers a ready-made, low-latency copper connection that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and fiber patching for short links. Its 0.5 m length and AWG 30 twinax construction provide predictable signal performance and power efficiency for data centre topologies and rack-to-rack interconnects. Compatibility with HP H3C devices simplifies integration in existing infrastructure.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be connected, ensuring secure latching. Use the 0.5 m length for short-range links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Verify device compatibility and configured link speed; the cable will negotiate the supported data rate within the range 1.0625–10.52 Gbps. Handle the twinax cable by the connector housings to avoid strain on the contacts.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for short-reach direct-attach connections; do not use it as a substitute for fiber-over-long-distance links. Confirm firmware and vendor compatibility with HP H3C devices before deployment, and choose the 0.5 m length for intra-rack or rack-adjacent connections.
