Dawicontrol PCI-kortti PCI-e DC-614e RAID 4-kanava SATA6G Retail

The Dawicontrol PCI Card PCI-e DC-614e RAID 4Kanal SATA6G Retail is an I/O adapter designed to add four SATA ports to systems with a PCI Express slot. The controller supports Serial ATA drives with a transfer rate of up to 6 Gbit/s and is intended for use in RAID configurations to improve storage organization and redundancy. The card provides a compact solution for integrating multiple 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drives into desktop or server platforms that accept PCI Express add-in cards.

Advantages

The card enables connection of up to four SATA drives through a PCI Express host interface, delivering SATA 6 Gbit/s throughput for compatible drives. It supports RAID modes to facilitate data distribution and redundancy across multiple disks. The adapter is supplied in retail packaging and is suitable for installations where an internal SATA controller is required or where motherboard SATA ports are insufficient.

Suitable for

• Expanding the number of internal SATA ports in desktop PCs
• Small server or workstation storage upgrades
• RAID configurations requiring up to four drives
• Systems with available PCI Express slots

Key specifications

• Number of SATA channels: 4
• Maximum per-channel transfer rate: 6 Gbit/s (SATA III)
• Host interface: PCI Express
• Form factor: PCIe add-in card (low-profile compatibility depends on bracket)

How to use

Install the card into an available PCI Express slot on a powered-off system, secure the bracket to the chassis, and connect SATA cables from the card's ports to the drives. Ensure that the system BIOS/UEFI recognizes the controller and configure RAID settings using the card's firmware or the operating system's disk management tools, depending on the supported RAID mode and driver availability. Install any necessary drivers provided by the manufacturer for full functionality under the target operating system.

Recommendations

Use quality SATA cables and compatible SATA drives rated for 6 Gbit/s to achieve maximum throughput. Verify physical clearance for the card and attached cables inside the chassis and back up data before creating or modifying RAID arrays.
