DEHN 556125 korroosiosuojanauha petrolatum 50 mm x 10 m musta

DEHN 556125 Corrosion Protection Tape is a cold-applied, self-adhesive petrolatum tape designed for permanent corrosion protection of metal pipes, cables, and fittings. Unlike conventional tapes that harden or crack over time, its petrolatum compound remains plastic-elastic, ensuring long-term sealing even on irregular surfaces. The synthetic fabric carrier provides high mechanical strength and conformability, while the tape's excellent water and chemical resistance make it suitable for buried or exposed applications.

Highlights

• Cold-applied, self-adhesive petrolatum compound—no primer or heat required
• Non-hardening, plastic-elastic formulation maintains flexibility over time
• High conformability to irregular shapes, flanges, and fittings
• Excellent water resistance and impermeability
• Resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, and soil bacteria
• UV resistant for outdoor exposure
• Complies with DIN 30672 and EN 12068 (Type A 30)

In daily use

Apply the tape directly to clean, dry metal surfaces by wrapping with 50% overlap. It conforms easily to valves, T-joints, and other complex geometries, providing a durable protective layer that withstands temperature fluctuations from -5 °C to +40 °C. The tape remains pliable and does not crack, ensuring long-term corrosion prevention in underground or above-ground installations.
