The DELL KB525C Office USB QWERTZ German Black is a full-size wired keyboard tailored for office environments. It connects via USB and uses a QWERTZ layout adapted for German-language input. The keyboard features plunger-style key switches that offer a responsive typing feel while maintaining a slim profile and a professional black finish suitable for desks, meeting rooms, and shared workspaces.

Advantages

The keyboard provides a familiar full-size keyset including a numeric keypad for efficient data entry and number-heavy workflows. Its USB wired connection ensures plug-and-play compatibility with most desktop systems without the need for batteries or wireless pairing. The QWERTZ layout supports German-language typing and regional key placements, and the plunger key mechanism balances tactile feedback with quiet operation for open-office use.

Suitable for

Office workstations and administrative tasks
Data entry and accounting where a numeric keypad is required
German-language typing and regional keyboard layouts
Shared workspaces, reception desks, and conference rooms

Key specifications

Interface: USB wired connection
Form factor: Full-size (100%) with dedicated numeric keypad
Key type: Plunger-style switches for responsive typing
Layout: QWERTZ optimized for the German language
Color: Black with a slim, office-oriented profile
Included pointing device: None (keyboard only)

How to use

Connect the keyboard to an available USB port on your computer; the operating system should recognize it automatically and install any standard drivers required. Position the keyboard on a stable surface with the numeric keypad to the right for right-handed number entry. Adjust your chair and desk height to maintain a neutral wrist position while typing. Use the QWERTZ-specific keys for German characters and diacritics as required by your operating system’s language settings.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, keep the keyboard away from liquids and clean dust from between keys periodically using compressed air or a soft brush. If you switch operating systems, verify keyboard layout settings to ensure correct character mapping for German input.

Loppuarvio: The keyboard is very comfortable and easy to use and is silent! No more clicking away. The keys on the keyboard feel very satisfying to type on too. One of things I really liked was that wired keyboard has both USB-A and USB-C connectors so if you want to...
