DeLOCK 19 tuuman kuituliitosrasia 24 x LC Duplex OS2 1U musta metalli

The DeLOCK 19" Optical Fiber Splice Box is a pre-assembled 1U rack-mount unit designed for organized and secure fiber management in network cabinets and data center racks. Housed in a black metal chassis, it provides space for 24 LC Duplex connections and supports OS2 single-mode fiber splicing with factory-installed pigtails and a pull-out front for easier access.

Advantages

The unit comes pre-equipped with 24 LC Duplex couplers and 48 pre-terminated pigtails placed in a splice cassette, reducing on-site preparation time. Its 1U metal design offers robust protection and standard 19" rack compatibility. The pull-out front panel enables access to both sides of the couplers without removing the cover, simplifying installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted fiber distribution in server rooms and data centers
• Splice termination and organized fiber patching for OS2 single-mode networks
• Telecom closets and building backbone installations

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U, 19" rack-mountable
• Connectors: 24 x LC Duplex couplers (48 fiber ports)
• Fiber type: OS2 single-mode
• Pigtails: 48 pre-installed pigtails in splice cassette
• Material/colour: Black metal housing
• Manufacturer: DELOCK, MPN 67009, EAN 4043619670093

How to use

Mount the splice box in a standard 19" rack occupying one unit of rack height. Route incoming and outgoing fibers into the box and secure them following standard fiber handling procedures. Use the splice cassette with the pre-installed pigtails to perform fusion splicing of the field fibers to the pigtails, then insert the pigtails into the LC Duplex couplers. Pull out the front panel as needed to access both sides of the couplers during splicing and patching operations.

Recommendations

Handle fibers and pigtails with appropriate electrostatic and contamination precautions. Use proper strain relief and routing to prevent bending beyond the fiber's minimum bend radius. Verify connector orientation and perform optical testing after splicing to ensure insertion loss meets network requirements.
