DeLOCK 20897 kaapelinsuojasukka ruskea polyesteri 6mm

The DeLOCK 20897 braided cable sleeve is a 6 mm polyester sleeve designed to bundle and protect exposed cables, wires or tubes. Its brown colour provides a discreet appearance for home or office environments while the material offers abrasion and heat resistance to extend cable life.

Advantages

This polyester sleeving is rodent resistant yet remains flexible and pliable, allowing it to conform to cable runs. The sleeve is highly stretchable to accommodate cables of varying diameters, abrasion- and heat-resistant for increased durability, and can be cut to length with a hot cutting tool. Cables and tubes can be added or removed multiple times, making the sleeve reusable.

Suitable for

• Organising small-diameter cables and wires (up to approximately 6 mm)
• Protecting exposed electrical cables and tubes from dirt and mechanical abrasion
• Use in home, office or light industrial cable management

How to use

Measure the length of cable to be covered and cut the braided sleeve slightly longer than required. For a clean edge and to prevent fraying, shorten the sleeve with a hot cutting tool. Insert cables or tubes into the sleeve and route as needed. To add or remove individual cables later, pull them out from the sleeve or slide the sleeve along the cable bundle; the polyester construction allows repeated access without significant damage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment when cutting the sleeve with a hot tool. Avoid direct exposure to open flames and ensure the sleeve is suitable for the operating temperatures of the cables it covers.
