The DeLOCK 4 Port Slim USB Hub is a compact metal-bodied hub that connects to computers, laptops or mobile devices via USB Type-C or USB Type-A. It provides four downstream USB ports (three USB Type-C and one USB Type-A) for attaching USB flash drives, card readers, external enclosures and other peripherals, supporting data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.

Advantages

The hub includes a built-in adapter on the cable that allows quick connection to either a USB Type-C or USB Type-A host, so the adapter cannot be misplaced. Its durable metal housing and small dimensions make the device robust and convenient for travel, while compatibility with Windows, macOS and Linux ensures broad system support.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB flash drives and external storage
• Using card readers and small USB peripherals
• Expanding ports on laptops, tablets and desktops with USB-C or USB-A
• Mobile and travel use where a compact, sturdy hub is needed

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) Type-C
• Hub interfaces: USB Type-C and USB Type-A (three Type-C + one Type-A)
• Number of ports: 4
• Maximum data rate: 5 Gbps
• Colour and material: Black metal housing

How to use

Connect the hub to a host device using the attached cable and the integrated adapter for USB-C or USB-A as required. Plug USB devices into any of the four downstream ports. The host operating system (Windows, macOS or Linux) should recognise connected devices automatically; no additional drivers are normally required for basic USB mass storage and HID devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect high-speed devices directly to the hub while ensuring the host port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1. Avoid overloading the hub with high-power devices; use self-powered devices or an externally powered hub if multiple power-hungry peripherals are required.
