5.25? Vaihtokehys 8 x M.2 NVMe SSD Slim SAS SFF-8654 -liitännällä

The DeLOCK 5.25" Mobile Rack is a solid metal tray designed to fit into a 5.25" bay of a PC, IPC or server enclosure and hold up to eight M.2 NVMe SSDs. Each slot provides a dedicated Slim SAS SFF-8654 connector to maintain maximum transfer speed for every drive. The unit has a compact black design with dimensions of 145 mm × 174 mm × 40 mm and is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux Kernel 6.2. Two keys are included for the lockable tray.

Advantages

The mobile rack supports quick hot-swap of M.2 NVMe SSDs via a dedicated mechanism that allows fast and easy exchange of drives. A keyed lock prevents unauthorised access to the installed SSDs. The metal carrier incorporates springs at the top and bottom to reduce vibration, improving stability and suitability for mobile or rack-mounted systems.

Suitable for

• Server and workstation systems requiring compact, high-density NVMe storage
• Backup and rapid data replacement tasks where drives are frequently swapped
• IPC and embedded systems that accept 5.25" bay devices
• Environments where vibration damping and secure storage are needed

How to use

Install the mobile rack into an available 5.25" bay of your PC, IPC or server according to the enclosure manufacturer's instructions. Connect each Slim SAS SFF-8654 cable to the corresponding backplane or host adapter so that every M.2 NVMe slot has a dedicated connection. Insert M.2 NVMe SSDs into the trays and ensure each tray is fully seated to establish the electrical connection. Use the locking mechanism and supplied keys to secure the tray when required.

Recommendations

Ensure each tray is fully inserted before powering the system to avoid connection failures. Handle M.2 NVMe SSDs with electrostatic discharge precautions and verify host adapter compatibility with Slim SAS SFF-8654 connectors and NVMe over PCIe lanes.
