DeLOCK 65833 sarjakaapeli beige 0,3 m DB-15 2 x DB-15

The DeLOCK 65833 is a 0.3 m beige serial splitter cable with a male DB-15 (D-Sub 15) connector that splits into two female DB-15 connectors. All 15 signal lines are wired 1:1, allowing direct data transmission between the single male connector and each of the two female connectors. The cable is supplied in a polybag and has a 5 mm diameter jacket.

Advantages

This Y cable preserves all 15 signal lines without signal merging or alteration, enabling straightforward parallel connections. Its compact 0.3 m length and thin 5 mm jacket make it convenient for short-distance routing in desktop or machine-room environments. The DB-15 metal shells provide reliable mechanical contact for serial and parallel DB-15 interfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer to two devices with DB-15 interfaces
• Splitting signals to printers, machines or lab equipment that use DB-15
• Short-distance test and diagnostic setups where full pin mapping is required

How to use

Connect the DB-15 male connector to the source device's DB-15 port and plug the two DB-15 female ends into the target devices. Ensure connectors are fully seated and screws are secured to maintain stable contact. Because the cable carries all 15 pins directly, confirm that the connected devices expect identical pinouts and compatible signal types to avoid miscommunication or damage.

Recommendations

Use the splitter for short cable runs and in applications where both targets can safely share the source signals. Avoid using this passive splitter for devices that require independent bidirectional communication channels or where signal buffering/isolation is necessary. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference and mechanically strain-sensitive areas to preserve signal integrity.
