DeLOCK 85585 videokaapelisovitin

The DeLOCK 85585 video cable adapter connects DVI-equipped PCs or laptops to HDMI displays such as monitors or projectors. The cable is 3 m long, 7.3 mm in diameter and comes in a polybag for convenient storage. It is designed to transmit high-quality video signals from a DVI source to an HDMI Type A display and is finished in black.

Advantages

The cable provides a stable physical connection between DVI output devices and HDMI input displays, supports high-quality video transmission without requiring additional drivers, and its 3 m length offers flexible placement of the connected devices. The compact diameter and black colour make it suitable for typical AV setups and cable routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop with a DVI output to an HDMI monitor
• Connecting a DVI output to an HDMI projector for presentations
• Replacing short DVI–HDMI patch cables in desktop AV setups

How to use

Connect the DVI plug to the DVI output on your PC or laptop and insert the HDMI Type A plug into the HDMI input of your monitor or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the correct input on the display. No drivers are required; the connected devices should negotiate the video signal automatically. For best results, use the cable for digital video-only connections where the source and display support the corresponding signal formats.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and heavy tension on the cable to maintain signal integrity. If audio is required, note that a simple DVI-to-HDMI cable carries video only unless the DVI source provides audio over the DVI connector; use a separate audio connection if needed.
