Use this passive adapter where the source device’s DisplayPort supports dual-mode (DP++). For reliable 4K@30 Hz output, check that both the graphics output and the DVI display support the required resolution and refresh rate. Avoid using the adapter for long-distance cable runs; its short 0.15 m cable is intended for close connections or as a simple adapter between cables.
