The DeLOCK Cable Mini FAKRA Z jack quad to 4 x FAKRA Z plug B-Type (1 m) is intended for connecting electronic components in vehicles and telecommunications equipment. It combines one Mini FAKRA Z jack quad with four FAKRA Z B‑Type plugs in a single 1‑metre cable to provide reliable RF connections where space is limited.

Advantages

The compact Mini FAKRA housings allow space savings of up to 80% compared to standard FAKRA connectors while maintaining compatibility with FAKRA Z signalling. The cable provides four separate FAKRA Z outputs from a single Mini FAKRA Z jack quad, enabling multiple connections without additional bulky cabling. Its construction is suitable for typical automotive and telecom environments where durable RF connections are required.

How to use

Connect the Mini FAKRA Z jack quad end to the corresponding Mini FAKRA Z socket on the source module. Route the cable as required and attach each of the four FAKRA Z plug B‑Type ends to the respective receiving FAKRA Z sockets. Ensure connector alignment and firm seating to maintain reliable RF contact. Secure and route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within typical automotive installation practices: avoid excessive bending radii, protect connections from prolonged exposure to moisture and contaminants, and verify connector retention after installation. Match FAKRA Z interfaces to the corresponding mating types to ensure proper signal transmission.
