DeLOCK kaapeliläpivienti 6,4 mm alumiini IP67 vesitiivis vedonpoistin

DeLOCK Cable Gland 6.4 mm made of aluminium provides a dust- and waterproof seal for cable and conduit entries. The product combines a screw-on strain relief with an IP67 protective rating to secure cables and protect against dirt and moisture in industrial environments. The metal construction and compact design are suitable for use where durable sealing and mechanical protection are required.

Advantages

The integrated screw-on strain relief fixes the cable to prevent excessive bending and to keep the cable in place during vibration. The IP67 rating ensures protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water. Aluminium construction offers mechanical robustness while the colour options (green and silver) assist visual identification.

Suitable for

• Cable and conduit feed-throughs in machinery
• Automation and robotics equipment
• Enclosures requiring dust- and waterproof cable entry
• Applications needing strain relief and bending protection

How to use

Drill or prepare a matching entry hole in the enclosure for the gland. Insert the cable through the gland and tighten the screw-on strain relief to clamp and secure the cable. Ensure the gland is correctly seated and tightened to maintain the IP67 seal. Recheck the assembly after vibration testing or after extended operation to confirm continued clamping.

Recommendations

Use the gland within its specified cable diameter (6.4 mm) and ensure threads and sealing surfaces are clean before installation; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the cable or housing threads.
