It supports USB, DisplayPort and PCI Express data transmission and features metal housings and reinforced strain relief for daily use.

Advantages

This USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable supports USB4™ data rates up to 20 Gbps while remaining compatible with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 devices. It implements USB Power Delivery (USB PD 3.0) with up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A) for device charging. Gold-plated contacts and a short 0.5 m length help ensure stable connections and reduced signal loss. The metal connector housings and robust strain relief increase mechanical durability.

How to use

Connect one USB Type-C connector to the USB Type-C or Thunderbolt™ 3 port of your PC, laptop or charger and the other connector to the target device (smartphone, monitor, external enclosure or dock). For high-speed USB4™ data transfer, ensure both connected devices support USB4™. For charging, verify the device supports USB Power Delivery and the required wattage. No driver installation is normally required for basic data transfer and power delivery.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its 0.5 m length for optimal signal integrity. Avoid sharp bends near the connector strain relief and keep the metal housings free from corrosive substances. When using power delivery at high wattage, use compliant chargers and ports rated for 100 W to ensure safe charging.
