DeLOCK USB Type-C - DisplayPort-kaapeli 8K 30 Hz HDR 3 m punainen

This cable by DeLOCK enables connection of a DisplayPort monitor to a PC or laptop with a USB-C™ or Thunderbolt™ 3 port. The source device must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The cable supports up to 8K resolution at 30 Hz with HDR and is 3 m long, offering extended reach for desktop setups and meeting-room arrangements. The exterior is red with black accents and it is intended for transmitting video and audio from USB Type-C devices to DisplayPort displays.

Advantages

The DeLOCK USB Type-C to DisplayPort cable delivers high-resolution video (8K at 30 Hz) with HDR support, enabling detailed and high-dynamic-range images on compatible monitors. The 3 m length gives flexibility in device placement while maintaining a single-cable connection for video and audio. The cable uses a USB Type-C connector on the source side and DisplayPort on the display side for direct, plug-and-play compatibility when the source supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops (USB-C or Thunderbolt 3) to DisplayPort monitors
• Home or office workstations requiring long cable reach
• Presentations or meeting rooms where device and display are separated
• High-resolution video editing, playback, or viewing with HDR

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector 1: USB Type-C
• Connector 2: DisplayPort
• Maximum resolution: 8K (7680 × 4320) at 30 Hz
• HDR support: Yes
• Colour: Red, Black

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C end to the source device (PC, laptop) that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt 3. Plug the DisplayPort end into the monitor's DisplayPort input. Select the correct video input on the monitor if necessary. The connection carries video and audio; no additional drivers are normally required. For optimal performance, ensure the source device output settings match the desired resolution and HDR options.

Recommendations

Use this cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C or Thunderbolt 3. For 8K at 30 Hz and HDR operation, verify that both the source device and the monitor support the required resolutions and HDR formats. Avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the connectors; store the cable coiled without tight kinks.
