DELOCK USB Type-C - HDMI -videokaapeli 2 m (DP Alt Mode) musta

The DELOCK USB Type-C to HDMI video cable (2 m) allows connection of a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode to an HDMI display such as a monitor, TV or projector. The cable uses a flexible coaxial construction with a braided jacket and a slim diameter for easy handling while carrying audio and video signals up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz (depending on source device and connected hardware).

Advantages

This cable offers a simple plug & play solution to transmit audio and video from a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode to an HDMI input. It features gold-plated contacts, triple shielding and a braided outer jacket for improved signal integrity and mechanical durability. The slim 3.5 mm coaxial design and 36 AWG conductor gauge make the cable flexible and easy to route.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, tablets or smartphones with USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode to HDMI monitors
• Connecting to TVs or projectors for multimedia playback and presentations
• Extending or mirroring a desktop for productivity or entertainment at up to 4K 60 Hz (system dependent)

When it may not be suitable

The cable requires the source device’s USB-C port to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode; it will not provide video output from USB-C ports that lack this feature. It is unidirectional from USB-C (input) to HDMI (output) and cannot be used to convert an HDMI source to USB-C.

Key specifications

• Connectors: USB Type-C (male) to HDMI (male)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Cable type: coaxial with braided jacket
• Cable diameter: approx. 3.5 mm; conductor gauge 36 AWG
• Maximum resolution: up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (dependent on system and hardware)
• Supports 3D displays; supports HDCP 1.4 and 2.2
• Signal direction: USB-C input → HDMI output; USB bus powered
• Gold-plated contacts; triple-shielded cable
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C plug to a device whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode, then connect the HDMI plug to the HDMI input of a monitor, TV or projector. The cable is plug & play in most systems; select the external display in your device’s display settings if output does not appear automatically. Ensure the display and source device support the intended resolution and refresh rate.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your laptop, tablet or smartphone USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode).
• Check the HDMI display’s supported maximum resolution and HDCP requirements for compatibility.
• Remember the cable is uni-directional (USB-C → HDMI) and will not work in reverse.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K 60 Hz output, use with devices and displays that explicitly support 4K at 60 Hz and ensure the device graphics drivers or firmware are up to date. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends to preserve the braided jacket and triple shielding.
